Suffolk born friends Lucy Dawson (graphics background) and Zoë Lawes (fashion background) have carried out a life long dream; to open a very special boutique, Regal Candy, right in the heart of their home county.

Found at the ever growing in popularity Finbows Yard, Bacton, the boutique houses handmade jewellery and vintage/ vintage style clothing and accessories.

There is a wide range of high quality smart vintage and vintage style clothing, bags, gloves, scarves, shoes and purses for sale.

The jewellery range features one off pieces of forgotten treasures that have been awarded new life and a contemporary twist. Many pieces have a Fairytale theme which have included Alice in Wonderland (which inspired the launch on the 10th April) , wizard of oz, and Cinderella.

Lucy Dawson says: “Our ethos is that every piece of our jewellery has a story to tell… We take neglected vintage pieces and make them into something else. In this way we are not only ‘recycling’ the old but we are making one off unique pieces that you won’t find anywhere else! Moving away from the mass-produced to the unique limited pieces. It’s also really affordable.”

We have also expanded to making corsage brooches using vintage lace, ribbon and buttons as well as feather headbands/facinators.

We also specialize in creating customized charm bracelets as unique and special gifts for people. We offer a free consultation where we can sit down and design your very own bracelet with your chosen charms and colours created specifically for you or a loved one. This is just the beginning for the boutique but there are plans to sell menswear which will include waistcoats (some handmade), ties and jackets. We are constantly looking for good quality Vintage clothes from people (mens and womens) so if you have anything suitable please bring it in and we’ll give you 40% of the sale. The shop has now extended its opening time to Tues-Friday 0930-1700 and Saturday 0930-1730. From Stowmarket follow the B1113 through Old Newton towards Finningham. Opposite EMZO Gift Shop
