Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst types, it’s very difficult to treat and survival rates are poor. There is new research taking place in which the viruses are manipulated to specifically infect and destroy pancreatic cancer cells, this will hopefully lead to improved treatments with fewer side effects for cancer patients in the future.

This particular cancer has affected somebody close to Matthew Flynn, which has given him and his brother Adam motivation to raise as much money for this research as possible. They have decided, along with their friends Adam Bennett and Lee Bark, to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats, this equates to about 900 miles. Matthew and Lee will be trying to make the trip in 5 days, as they are keen cyclists and the two Adam’s will be trying to make the trip for 8 days.
