Wednesday 3rd November 7.30pm – BROWN HARES – Martin Tickler Although still a relatively common species, the Brown Hare suffered a dramatic population decline in the first part of the 20th century. A postwar increase in numbers was followed by another severe decline between the 1960s and 1980s. Martin will tell us about the life of the brown hare and the efforts to conserve its future. Plus our annual prize raffle and sale of the Trust’s Christmas cards.
