In only a few weeks the Children from Chernobyl will be with us in Needham Market for their respite visit. Having now received the details of the children we find the majority of them are quite small and we now find ourselves in urgent need of Booster seats for them to use whilst they are here. If you have one you could donate or lend us for the month of July it would be much appreciated as to have to buy 20 is of them would use up money we would rather spend on the children. Seats can be dropped in at the Charity Shop in the High street Needham Market or alternatively you can call me and I will be happy to come and collect. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have donated clothing for the children, unfortunately some contributions were left at the Charity shop without any contact details so I apologise for not sending a personal thank you for these donations. Some of you may be aware that Kevin Parker is undertaking a bike ride from London to Paris at the end of June to raise funds for this years visit. With this being our largest group yet of 24 children we have quite a target to achieve. The bike ride is taking place over only three days, that’s over a hundred miles each day! You can follow his progress at www.justgiving. co.uk/kevparker . Lastly, we are aiming to send each child home with a shoe box of basic first aid items that all of us take for granted but that these children just do not have access to. If you can help by donating one or more of these items there is a “drop box” in our Charity Shop and all contributions will be most gratefully received. We are looking for: Plasters, Strepsils, Lockets, Chapsticks, Bonjela, Lyclear or Fullmarks solution, Vicks vapour rub, Calpol, Cough mixture (age 6 plus) & Drapolene cream.

I have two car seats to give to the Needham Market Chariy shop but I don’t have the name of the shop or a contact number as I need them to collect from me. Could you give me the information please. Thank you. I live in Stowmarket.
